UK-based Bateson’s range of double horse trailers combine a low unladen weight, exceptional strength, good aerodynamics and stable towing characteristics. Construction is based around a hot dipped galvanised chassis & frame with specially manufactured glass fibre/plywood laminated panels and galvanised steel section floor overlaid with removable rubber matting.

Bateson : Derby
The Derby is a modern rear unload double horse trailer with 7’ headroom. Its exceptionally low unladen weight makes it suitable for use behind larger saloon cars. The maximum gross weight is 1700kg but this can be reduced as required if used with only one horse. If the total weight of car trailer and load is less than 3500kg it can be used with the new standard car driver’s license. more information
Bateson : Deauville
The Deauville is Bateson’s most popular front unload horse trailer, its generous 7’ 3" headroom allowing horses up to 17hh to be transported. The centrally hinged division is very easy to operate and allows plenty of space for entry and exit. It is also available with a ramp door or ‘Boston’ doors in place of conventional ramp. more information
Bateson : Ascot
The Ascot has a similar capacity to the Deauville, but has a lockable saddle cupboard inside the front with bridle hooks and a lift out tray. It has a very smart and distinctive appearance with an aerodynamic nose cone and stylish mudguards incorporating triple rear lamps. This top-range model is also available with either a ramp door or optional ‘Boston’ doors similar to the Deauville. more information
